The rental fee is all-inclusive: heating, electricity, hot water, linens, fully equipped kitchen and dining room, broadband Internet, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and unlimited international phone calls. Weekly cleaning and change of linens is also included.

Due to the exceptional nature of the apartment's details and furnishings, pets are not allowed, and smoking is permitted only on the balconies. A maximum of 6 people may inhabit the apartment at any given time.

Please contact the agent to check availability and initiate the booking process. Every attempt will made to anwer any and all questions promptly. After confirming dates, you will receive a rental contract by email or fax, with confirmation of amount and deposit instructions. Payments can be made by bank wire transfer, or by checks drawn on US, EU or British banks if check is received 45 days before arrival.

To secure your booking, a payment of 50% of the rental fee is required within seven days of rental contract signature. The balance plus the refundable damage deposit must be paid 45 days prior to arrival. If arrival date is less than 45 days, then the full rental payment is required, plus payment of the refundable damage deposit. Your rental will be confirmed when you have posted, faxed, or scanned and emailed a signed copy of the rental agreement and paid the appropriate amount.

More than 120 days before arrival: deposit payment is fully refundable minus a €500 administration fee.

120 to 91 days before arrival: 20% of total rent is retained.

90-45 days before arrival: 30% of total rent is retained.

Within 45 days: 50% of total rent is retained.

In all cases of cancellation, the damage deposit is fully refundable.

Due the exceptional quality of the details and furnishings of this residence, a damage deposit of €2,500 is required.

Its purpose is to cover potential damage or loss beyond normal wear and tear and/or repairs to return the apartment to its original state.

On arrival, you will review and sign an itemized list of contents and condition photos with the rental agent. The list will be reviewed with you again on departure. If everything is fine, your damage deposit will be refunded within 72 hours. Should damage or loss be determined, the deposit will be witheld until repairs have been made, and you will receive the deposit less the cost of repairs.

French insurance and civil liability laws (different from those in most countries), require that you maintain your own property and liability insurance for your own person and others in your party against any accident or injury that may occur while renting the premises.

Many homeowner's insurance policies include "off premises" personal property and liability insurance. Check your existing coverage with your insurance agent to determine if you're covered for foreign rentals. Otherwise you should obtain short-term insurance through a specialized policy.
